Choose where your backups go
Google Drive backups are an optional owner feature. When enabled for your restaurant, connect your Google account and choose a daily time. Our server uploads saved restaurant records into a dedicated KhaataPeeta folder, including when the POS is closed.
- Open Settings and select Connect Google Drive.
- Choose your Google account and review the requested permission.
- Choose your daily backup time and check the last verified backup in Settings.
We request your Google email address to identify the connected account, plus permission for files used with this backup app. We do not request access to your entire Drive or your Gmail messages. You can disconnect in Settings; existing backup files stay in your Drive.
Local-folder backups run while the POS is open on the owner’s computer and catch up when it next opens. Folder support and permission depend on your browser.
Backups contain restaurant records, not login accounts or a complete database recovery image. Keep backup files private and review their contents before restoring.
